In CloseOut, there are predefined roles that help efficiently manage user access and permissions. The main roles include:
- Admin: Full access to all features and settings
- HR: Manages user accounts and permissions
- Quality Manager: Oversees quality control processes
- Quality Specialist: Assists with quality checks and validations
- Region Manager: Manages projects within a specific region (has territory access)
- Field Tech: Responsible for on-site tasks and documentation
- Read Only: Limited access for viewing information without editing rights
If the predefined roles (blue) don’t meet your needs, custom roles (black) can be created to match specific requirements. To do this, log in to the CloseOut web application, go to the Administration section, and select Settings > Roles. From there, you can clone an existing role or create a new one from scratch by assigning the appropriate permissions.
