How can the administrator create a new workflow template?

If you have an administrator role, you can create a workflow template as a template that project managers will use when creating a project workflow, by importing it completely and modifying it slightly if necessary. This option is used when a certain work process is almost always the same on a large number of projects so that by selecting the form, the creation of the project workflow for each project is shortened.

In this example, we'll explain how to create a new workflow template, with multiple folders and photo placeholders.

  1. Log into CloseOut.
  2. In the Administration tab select Templates.
  3. The option to edit Project Workflows is automatically selected. Click the arrow next to it and select Workflow Templates.
  4. If you have an administrator role, the Create New button will appear. Click and enter a template name.
  5. On the right panel, click the + (Add node) button, and select Folder.
  6. Enter the number of folders that you want to create and the name of the folder.

    Note:

If you selected more than one folder the system automatically creates names for the other folders by adding the number (Folder-1, Folder-2, Folder-3...). You can edit the folder name later.

    6. Click the + (Add node) button on the folder level, and select Photo placeholder.
    7. Enter the photo placeholder details, and click Save.

You have now successfully created a workflow template, which project managers will be able to assign to their projects.
